Our Story

As former colleagues at an ed tech startup in San Francisco, we used to joke that someday we’d start a company together. What seemed like a pipe dream became a reality in 2020, when the COVID forces took over and that former company was acquired and laid off the People team. This was the opportunity to take a step back and discover what we wanted as next steps in our careers. We were proud of the diverse team we’d hired and the inclusive team culture we’d crafted together, and decided we could scale our collective impact as an independent firm.

Envision Inclusion was founded at the close of 2020 as companies doubled down on their commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion and found their voices in support of racial justice. Since then, Envision Inclusion has supported over 2 dozen innovative companies across the United States to hire the team they need to hit the next big milestone.
