Role: Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Bounti sought a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with 8+ years of experience, someone capable of designing and training machine learning models to tackle pressing business challenges. They needed an individual with a proven track record in developing ML solutions using extensive real-world data to address real-world business issues. Ideally, this candidate would also have experience in creating and managing enterprise-grade applications and data analytics.

Further, Bounti was determined to promote inclusivity in the tech industry by ensuring that women and minorities were well-represented in the candidate pool.

Our Process

Envision Inclusion wholeheartedly embraced Bounti’s diverse pipeline goal and went the extra mile to identify and present candidates who not only met the stringent technical criteria but also enriched the diversity of the team. Our strategy was heavily focused on sourcing and vetting underrepresented minority candidates. Approximately 75% of our outreach efforts were dedicated to identifying candidates from underrepresented backgrounds in tech.

Candidate Evaluation: We conducted rigorous candidate evaluations and meticulously documented our intro call notes. These notes served as a valuable resource, aiding both our team and the Bounti organization in the selection of candidates for further stages of the process.

Communication and Collaboration: In addition, we maintained regular bi-weekly discussions with the Hiring Manager. These ongoing dialogues allowed us to exchange insights about the candidates, address any candidate queries, and stay informed about each candidate's progress through the process.

Our methodology was designed to ensure equitable recognition of every candidate's potential, fostering transparent pathways to success for our client and the outstanding candidates we had the privilege of engaging with.

Over the course of our partnership, we identified top candidates from a diverse pool of sourced candidates and moved them through the interview process in a timely manner. Bounti successfully made a competitive offer to their top candidate from an underrepresented background and was able to close the Senior ML Engineer position in just 6 weeks since kicking off with Envision Inclusion.
